Goldcoast Developmental Foundation losses patron

Goldcoast Developmental Foundation has lost an amazing mother and patron of the foundation. Mrs. Goldcoast Dickson was the visionary and selfless mother to many, in whose legacy we have as a foundation, positively impacted the lives of rural women and children of communities within Bayelsa and the Niger-Delta Region.

For the sole purpose of continuing in her legacy and service to humanity, this foundation was founded in 2013 by our President; Barrister Moses Oruaze Dickson; her son, who ensured that her passion for helping and contributing to the welfare of people around her, whether young or old, will be continued.

Those of us who have been fortunate enough to know Mrs. Goldcoast have lost a dear mother and an inspiration. Late Mrs. Goldcoast, gave her all to ensure she catered to others, even in times when she had little. It is this spirit that we have dedicated ourselves to, as a foundation, to ensure that we continue the good works of our beloved patron.

No words can adequately express our sadness at Mrs. Goldcoast’s passing or our gratitude for the opportunity to share in her values and mission. We will honor her memory by committing ourselves to continue the work she lived for.

If it is true that “A person’s true wealth is the good he or she does in the world”, Mrs. Goldcoast was wealthy beyond words. In the coming days and years when we speak of her, we will remember happier times with a woman we truly respected and loved and who challenged us to heights we thought we could never reach through her selflessness.

In grief, we will always miss her, but in thankfulness, we will be grateful that she touched our lives and allowed us the gift of being a part of this amazing journey. She taught us all the very foundations of Love.

Our hearts go out to her children and extended family. Rest on Mother to many.
