GOLDCOAST INAUGURATES A NEW COORDINATOR

Miss Brenda Izu was inaugurated as the new Program Coordinator on the 17th of November, 2020.

Brenda Ifeoma Izu holds a National Diploma in Mass Communication from the Lagos State Polytechnic and a Bachelor’s Degree in Mass Communication from the University of Benin. While at the University, Miss Brenda was actively involved in many Charity works; she volunteered for Apiriala Hallowed Foundation and Dynamite Incorporated, both are Non-Governmental Organisations. Her love and concern for the empowerment of the girl child made her to start a monthly meeting for younger girls as a teenager and also Co started an Organization known as the reformers revolutionary group with a team of young teenagers.

The inauguration took place at the Cooperate headquarters of the the Foundation at No 71 Green Villa Road, Biogbolo, Yenagoa, Bayelsa State.

Speaking on the occasion, Mr. Tolulope Adeusi who represented the Founder / Chairman Board of Trustees, Barr. Moses Oruaze Dickson congratulated the cordinator and charged her to bring her wealth of experience to bear on the Foundation.

In her inaugural speech, Miss Brenda Izu expressed her profound gratitude to the Chairman Board of Trustee, Barr. Mosess Oruaze Dickson and the entire team for finding her worthy to serve in the capacity of the coordinator. She pledged her commitment, experience and contacts to the advancement of the ideals of the Foundation. She now takes over the mantle of leadership from Miss Chinwe Okolie who bowed out after a meritorious service to the Foundation and humanity.

High-points of the inauguration ceremony was the administration of oath of office to Miss Brenda by Barr. Timiibieri Goans Woko and the official handover by the head of Administration Mr Japhet C. Osadebe with Miss Brenda signing-in officially afterward.

Goldcoast Development Foundation is a Non-governmental Organisation (NGO) with its main focus on promotion and support of quality healthcare services, quality education at the grass root level and youth empowerment for creative self-development to actively contribute to sustainable social and economic development at the community, local, state and national level.
