Goldcoast recognizes that it cannot achieve its objectives alone. Therefore, partnerships and collaborations are at the core of the Foundation’s work. Partnerships are built with the following types of institutions;
Local and state governments in Niger Delta have the primary responsibility to develop communities in the region. Therefore, Goldcoast works with local and state governments to achieve its objectives and programmatic goals. Government agencies such as the Niger Delta Development Commission (NDDC) and the Nigerian Content Development and Monitoring Board (NCDMB) are also important in the development of the region.
The Foundation works strategically with the private sector in the Niger Delta by drawing on private sector expertise and resources to achieve its goals. the Foundation encourages private sector organisations to be socially conscious and contribute to the development of the communities they work in.
The Foundation forges collaborations with other civil society organisations in the Niger Delta, across Nigeria and internationally exchanging skills, information and expertise.
