The 2022 flood came with its many troubles, destroying houses, roads and even led to loss of
lives. As usual many pregnant women, nursing mothers and children were rendered homeless.
Our foundation which was moved by the pains of these vulnerable people especially nursing
mothers, decided to open a temporary shelter home for nursing mothers and their children
where they can be accommodated temporarily while the flood lasts.
It was home away from home as basic necessities including food items, drugs, cooked food,
relaxation spots as well as other materials were made available.
We rescued sets of trapped twins, Triplets and other mazing children wonderful to behold.
While the flood lasts, we worked in close partnership with generous donors, SEMA Bayelsa
and volunteers to provide the help we could.
