Goldcoast Developmental Foundation Joins Other Ngos In Commemoration Of 2021 16 Days Of
Activism Against Gender Based Violence.
As the 16 Days of Activism Against Gender-Based violence comes to conclusion, Goldcoast
collaborated with the gender response Initiative Team(Grit) and other Non Governmental
Organisations across Bayelsa State for a solidarity walk against gender based violence.
Each year, the world marks “16 days of Activism Against Gender-based Violence” starting on
November 25 (International Day for the Elimination of Violence against Women), and ending on
December 10 (Human Rights Day). This campaign is used to call for global actions to increase
awareness and take action for the prevention and elimination of violence against women.
